General Information
- There are about 33 5th grade students, 3 5th grade teachers, a student teacher, a science teacher and 2 classrooms that we work with.
- Projects range from individual activities to team builds consisting of 4 members.
- If you would like to make project suggestions, please write to either Outreach Coordinators, Robert Amezquita or Andrew Richards.

| 4 | 01/29/2010 | Earthquake Towers: To help prepare the design project for TESC’s Enspire during E-week, we will be testing this design project on a small scale with the students. |
| 5 | 02/05/2010 | Spruce Street Suspension Bridge: We will take the class on a field trip by walking to the nearby Spruce Street Suspension Bridge. We will look at it and relate its construction to elements that we’ve learned during the Bridge Project. |

| 7 | 02/19/2010 | Ink Forensics: The class will learn about liquid chromatography by experimenting with coffee filters and black markers to identify the various color pigments that make up each black marker. |
| 8 | 02/26/2010 | Circuits Introduction: The students will learn about circuits by creating a basic circuit consisting of a battery, wires and a light bulb. |
